Defect
In the steering system, the assembly position of the steering shaft joint is improper, leaving the joint not secured in the correct position on some vehicles. Continued use may, in the worst case, cause the joint to separate, resulting in loss of steering control.
Corrective action
Inspect all vehicles. On any vehicle where the joint assembly position is incorrect, reassemble the joint to the proper position.

状況
かじ取り装置において、ステアリングシャフトの継ぎ手部の組付け位置が不適切なため 、継ぎ手が正しい位置に固定されていないものがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると 、最悪の場合、当該継ぎ手部が外れ、かじ取り操作が出来なくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両点検し、当該継ぎ手の組付け位置が不適切なものは、正規の位置に組み付けなお す。
