Defect
On dual front-axle vehicles, the link rod geometry is incorrect. When the steering is turned to full lock and the vehicle crosses a road irregularity, the rod may contact the tire. Continued operation in this condition may cause the rod to fracture, resulting in loss of reliable steering control.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the link rod with a corrected part and adjust the tire steering-angle stopper. On a subset of vehicles where the above modification alone would cause the corrected link rod to interfere with the brake pipes and power steering oil pipes, those pipes will also be replaced with redesigned corrected parts.

状況
前2軸車において、 ①リンクロッドの形状が不適切なため、ハンドルを最大限まで切った状態で段差を通過し た場合、当該ロッドがタイヤと接触することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を 続けると、最悪の場合、ロッドが折損し、確実な操舵ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
①全車両、リンクロッドを対策品と交換し、タイヤ切れ角ストッパを調整する。なお、一 部の車両について、上記の変更のみでは、リンクロッドがブレーキパイプ及びパワステア リングオイルパイプと干渉するため、併せて、形状変更した対策品と交換する。
