Defect
These wheelchair-accessible vehicles are modified from standard floor-plan vehicles. The left-side brake hose bracket is improperly shaped, allowing the lateral rod to contact the bracket during vehicle vibration. In the worst case, the connection between the brake hose and brake tube may deform, causing brake fluid to leak and reducing braking force.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the brake hose bracket. Where a defect is found, replace the brake hose bracket with a corrected part and replace the brake hose and brake tube with new units.

状況
標準車の床部を改造し、車いすを収納可能とした福祉車両の制動装置において、左側ブレ ーキホースブラケットの形状が不適切なため、車両の振動によりラテラルロッドが当該ブ ラケットと干渉することがあり、最悪の場合、ブレーキホースとブレーキチューブの接続 部が変形し、ブレーキ液が漏れて制動力が低下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ブレーキホースブラケットを点検し、異常のあるものはブレーキホースブラケッ トを対策品に交換するとともに、ブレーキホース、ブレーキチューブを新品に交換する。
