Defect

The hydraulic sub-return hose serving the power-assist system for the steering and brake circuits is installed with a twist on certain vehicles. During cab-tilt operations, the twisted hose catches on the heater hose clip and begins to pull free from its fitting. If the vehicle continues to be operated in this condition, the hose may fully separate, causing hydraulic fluid to leak. In the worst case, steering effort increases and braking force decreases.

Corrective action

On all vehicles: (1) Replace the pipe at the sub-return hose fitting with a corrected/revised part (adding bulge processing and alignment marks), replace the sub-return hose with a corrected/revised part (adding alignment marks), and add a retaining clip. (2) Reorient the heater hose clip to the correct position. In addition, replace the pipe at the main return hose fitting with a corrected/revised part (adding bulge processing and alignment marks) and replace the main return hose with a corrected/revised part (adding alignment marks).

状況

かじ取り装置及び制動装置に装備されている倍力用の油圧系統のサブリターンホースにお いて、当該ホースが捩れて取付けられたものがあるため、キャブチルト操作時にホースが ヒータホースのクリッブに引っ掛かり、抜け気味となり、そのままの状態で使用を続ける と、最悪の場合、ホースが抜けて作動油が漏れ、操舵力が重くなるとともに制動力が低下 するおそれがある。

改善措置

①全車両、当該ホース取付け部のパイプを対策品(バルジ加工追加、合わせマーク追加)  に交換するとともに当該ホースを対策品(合わせマーク追加)に交換し、固定クリップ  を追加する。 ②ヒータホースのクリップの向きを修正する。  なお、当該油圧系統のメインリターンホース取付け部のパイプについても対策品(バル  ジ加工追加、合わせマーク追加)に交換するとともにメインリターンホースを対策品(  合わせマーク追加)に交換する。
