Defect
The seat belt buckle on the driver's seat was manufactured using an improper process for the internal base of the buckle (tongue receiver). As a result, the tongue may not seat correctly when the belt is fastened, preventing the locking mechanism from engaging properly. In a collision or similar event, load applied to the belt may cause it to release, failing to restrain the occupant.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the driver's seat belt buckle with a conforming part.

状況
運転者席用座席ベルトにおいて、当該ベルトバックル（タング受け部）内の台座の製造 方法が不適切なため、ベルト締結時にタングが正しく装着されないことがあり、ロック機 構が正常に作動せず、衝突時等において、荷重がかかった時にベルトが外れて乗員を拘束 できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、運転者席用ベルトバックルを良品と交換する｡
