Defect
Foreign matter contaminated the fuel return hose — which routes fuel from the fuel injection system back to the tank — during the manufacturing process, resulting in insufficient hose strength. Continued use may cause the hose to crack. In the worst case, fuel leaks from the crack and may result in a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the manufacturing date of the fuel return hose and replace any hose within the affected date range with a non-defective part.

状況
燃料装置において、燃料を燃料噴射装置からタンクに戻す燃料ホースの製造過程で異物が 混入したためホースの強度が不足しているものがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると 、当該ホースに亀裂が生じ、最悪の場合、燃料が漏れ火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ホースの製造年月日を点検し、該当するものは良品と交換する。
