Defect
In the front passenger's airbag warning system, the warning switch inside the seat belt buckle is improperly machined on some units. As a result, even when the seat belt is correctly fastened, the warning may not cancel.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace both the driver's and front passenger's seat belt buckles with serviceable parts.
