Defect
The front seat belt pretensioners were manufactured with an incorrect propellant charge formulation for the belt retraction mechanism. As a result, the propellant may fail to ignite properly during a collision, preventing the pretensioner from activating and leaving the seat belt without the required retraction force.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the left, right, or both front seat belt assemblies with correct units.

状況
前席用シートベルトのプリテンショナにおいて、シートベルト巻取り機構を作動させる着火剤の配合量の設定が不適切なものがある。そのため、衝突時に正常に着火剤が着火せず、プリテンショナが作動せずシートベルトを引き込まないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、左右または片側の前席用シートベルトＡＳＳＹを良品と交換する。
