Defect

On two-wheel-drive vehicles without a supercharger, the left rear brake pipe was improperly secured. At high vehicle speeds, the pipe may resonate and vibrate, causing cracks to develop. Brake fluid leaks through the cracks, reducing braking force.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, add a bracket to secure the affected brake pipe and replace the brake pipe with a new part.

状況

 2輪駆動車(過給機付車を除く。)の制動装置において、左後輪ブレーキパイプの固定 方法が不適切なため、高速走行時に共振を起こすことがあり、振動により当該ブレーキパ イプに亀裂が発生し、ブレーキ液が漏れて制動力が低下するおそれがある。

改善措置

 全車両、当該ブレーキパイプにブラケットを追加すると共に、ブレーキパイプを新品に 交換する。
