Defect
On vehicles dedicated to transporting young children, the emergency exit door lock on certain vehicles was fitted with an incorrectly designed lock assembly. When the emergency exit is locked, the door cannot be opened without a key, even in an emergency.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the operation of the door lock assembly. Any vehicle on which the emergency exit cannot be opened from inside while locked must have the door lock assembly replaced with the correct part.

状況
幼児専用車の非常口において、ドアロック装置に不適切な構造のものを取り付けた車両が あるため、非常口を施錠している場合、非常の際に、かぎを用いないと、非常口が開けら れないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ドアロック装置の作動を確認し、施錠した状態で非常口が開かないものは正規の ドアロック装置と交換する。
