Defect
On vehicles equipped with an air-operated brake system, the compression pressure control valve—which regulates the output of the air compressor—was improperly machined. The valve may become fixed in the compression-interrupted position, preventing the system from building compressed air and causing the warning lamp to illuminate. Continued use in this condition may result in insufficient braking force in the worst case.
Corrective action
Inspect the air compressor serial number on all vehicles. On affected units, replace the compressor head assembly with a known-good part.

状況
圧縮空気により作動する制動装置において、空気圧縮機の圧力を制御する圧縮圧制御弁の 加工に不適切なものがあるため、当該制御弁が空気の圧縮を中断する状態に固定されたま まとなり、圧縮空気が充填されず、警告灯が点灯することがあり、そのままの状態で使用 を続けると、最悪の場合、制動力が不足することがある。
改善措置
全車両、空気圧縮機の製造番号を点検し、該当するものは空気圧縮機のヘッド部を良品に 交換する。
