Defect
In the fuel tank, the spot welds joining the top panel to the baffle plate (wave-dampening plate) are defective on some units. Continued use allows cracks to develop at the spot-welded joints. In the worst case, a fuel leak may occur.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the affected area of the fuel tank. Units showing fuel leakage or cracks are to be replaced with a conforming part. Units showing no abnormality are to have sealant applied to the affected area.

状況
燃料タンクにおいて、タンク上面板と波動止め板（バッフルプレート）のスポット溶接に 不良のものがあるため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該スポット溶接部に亀裂が 生じ、最悪の場合、燃料漏れが発生するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料タンクの当該部位を点検し、燃料漏れおよび亀裂の認められるものは良品と 交換する。なお、点検で異常のないものについては、当該部位にシール剤を塗布する。
