Defect
The tire hanger holder that suspends and secures the spare tire carrier to the vehicle body is improperly shaped. When the spare tire is stowed, the electrical wiring is damaged by contact with the holder. In the worst case, the rear lights may fail to illuminate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the holder and spacer pipe with corrected parts, and inspect the electrical wiring. Any damaged wiring is to be replaced with a conforming part.

状況
スペアタイヤを固定するタイヤハンガーにおいて、当該ハンガーを車体に吊るして固定す るホルダーの形状が不適切なため、スペアタイヤ格納時に電気配線がホルダーにより損傷 し、最悪の場合、車体後部の灯火類が点灯しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ホルダー及びスペーサーパイプを対策品に交換すると共に、電気配線を点検 し、損傷しているものは良品と交換する。
