Defect
The tire hanger holder that suspends and secures the spare tire carrier to the vehicle body is improperly shaped. When the spare tire is stowed, the electrical wiring is damaged by contact with the holder. In the worst case, the rear lights may fail to illuminate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the holder and spacer pipe with corrected parts, and inspect the electrical wiring. Any damaged wiring is to be replaced with a conforming part.

改善措置
