Defect
In the vehicle interior wiring, the electrical circuit for the cargo box rear gate locking solenoid is not protected by a fuse. If a short circuit occurs, the wiring may melt and produce smoke. In the worst case, the damage spreads to adjacent wiring and causes lighting and other electrical components to stop functioning.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected wiring with fuse-protected wiring.

状況
車室内の電気配線において、荷箱リヤゲート固定用電磁便の電気配線に保護ヒューズがな いため、当該電気配線が短絡した場合、当該電気配線が溶損・発煙し、最悪の場合、付近 の電気配線に損傷をあたえ、灯火器類等が作動しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、保護ヒューズ付配線と交換する。
