Defect
On sliding rear doors, the groove geometry of the door lock link is incorrect. When the child-proof lock is engaged and the door is opened or closed, the door latch may not fully engage. In the worst case, the door may open while the vehicle is in motion.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, install a stopper on the tip of the affected link.

状況
スライド式リヤドアにおいて、ドアロック装置のリンクの溝の形状が不適切なため、室内 ハンドルでドアを開くことをできなくする装置(チャイルドプルーフ装置)を作動させた 状態でドアを開閉した際に、ドア・ラッチのかみ合いが不完全となるときがあり、最悪の 場合、走行中にドアが開くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該リンクの先端部にストッパーを装着する。
