Defect
Insufficient tightening torque on the mounting screws of the door lock assembly on the driver's side door may allow the screws to loosen and fall out, causing incomplete door latch engagement. In the worst case, the door may open while the vehicle is in motion.
Corrective action
Inspect all vehicles. Replace any door lock assembly showing play in its mounting with a non-defective part. On assemblies with no play, retorque the mounting screws to the specified value.

運転席側ドアにおいて、ドアロック装置の固定用ネジの締め付け力が不足しているものが あるため、当該ネジが緩んで脱落し、ドアラッチの噛み合いが不完全となることがあり、 最悪の場合、走行中にドアが開くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両点検し、ドアロック装置の取り付けにガタのあるものは良品と交換し、ガタのない ものは固定用ネジを規定トルクで締め付ける。
