Defect
In the electronic control system of the turbocharged engine, the electrical wiring is routed improperly and may contact the turbocharger cover mounting bolts. Continued use in this condition can damage the wiring insulation, causing engine malfunction and, in the worst case, engine stall.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, install a protective tube on the affected wiring and add a band clip to ensure adequate clearance from the turbocharger. Any damaged wiring must be repaired.

状況
過給機付原動機の電子制御装置において、電気配線の取回しが不適切なため過給機のカバ ー取付ボルトと接触するものがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該電気配線の 被覆が損傷し原動機が不調となり、最悪の場合、原動機が停止するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該電気配線に保護チューブを取付けるとともに、バンドクリップを追加し過給 機との隙間を確保する。また、電気配線が損傷しているものは修正する。
