Defect
The accelerator cable liner may be contaminated with alumina particles, causing accelerated wear of the inner cable. As the inner cable frays, it can snag on the liner, preventing engine speed from returning to idle. Additionally, the inner cable may fracture entirely, leaving the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
Replace the accelerator cable on all vehicles with a new part.

状況
アクセルケーブルにおいて、ライナー部にアルミナ粉が混入した等の原因により、インナーケーブルが早期に摩耗するものがある。そのため、インナーケーブルがほつれてライナー部に引っ掛かり、エンジン回転が下がらなくなるおそれがある。また、インナーケーブルが折損し、走行不能になるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、アクセルケーブルを新品と交換する。
