Defect

Some fuel delivery pipes—which distribute fuel to each engine cylinder—have insufficiently seated quick-connector fittings at both ends. Continued use may cause the quick connectors to disengage and fuel to leak and, in the worst case, may result in a vehicle fire.

Corrective action

Inspect all vehicles and secure the quick-connector fittings at the affected joints.

状況

原動機の各気筒に燃料を分配する燃料分配器の両端にある継ぎ手部の嵌合が不十分なもの があり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該継ぎ手部のクイックコネクタが抜けて燃 料が漏れ、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両点検し、当該継ぎ手部の嵌合状態を確実なものにする。
