Defect
On certain vehicles, the drain hole at the lower section of the left rear side panel is blocked by sealer (body gap filler), allowing rainwater to accumulate inside the panel. This causes rust to form on the connector terminals of the fuel pump wiring harness located in that area, which may prevent the fuel pump from operating and render the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the drain hole and remove any sealer blocking it. Inspect the affected connector and replace it with a new one if rust is present.

状況
左後部側面パネル下部の水抜き孔がシーラ(車体隙間の充填剤)で塞がっているものが あるため、雨水等が当該パネル内に溜まり、当該部にある燃料ポンプ用の電気配線のコネ クタ端子に錆が発生し、燃料ポンプが作動しなくなり、走行不能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、水抜き孔を点検し、塞がっているものはシーラを除去するとともに、当該コネ クタを点検し、錆ているものは新品と交換する。
