Defect

The seal plugs on the front and rear faces of the fuel engine cylinder head are improperly assembled. Continued use may cause the plugs to fall out, allowing engine oil to leak and resulting in engine seizure and loss of mobility. In the worst case, leaked oil contacting the exhaust pipe may cause a vehicle fire.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, add a retaining bracket to prevent the seal plugs from falling out.

状況

 ガソリンエンジンのシリンダーヘッド前後面にある、密封栓(シールプラグ)の組み付 けが不適切なものがあるため、このままの状態で使用を続けると当該密封栓が脱落し、エ ンジンオイルが漏れ、エンジンが焼き付き走行不能になる場合がある。また、漏れたエン ジンオイルが排気管に付着し、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。

改善措置

 全車両、密封栓の脱落を防止するための押さえ板(ブラケット)を追加する。
