Defect
The body case of the rollover engine kill sensor is made of an unsuitable material. Over time, the damper oil sealed inside the case may diminish, causing the sensor to malfunction. In the worst case, excessive road shock may trigger an unintended engine shutdown, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the kill sensor with a corrected/revised part.

状況
転倒時にエンジンを停止させる装置(キルセンサー)のボデーケースの材質が不適切な ため、長期間経過した場合、ケース内に封入しているダンパーオイルが減少して当該装置 が正常に作動しなくなり、最悪の場合、路面からの過度の衝撃等を受けた際にエンジンが 停止し、走行不能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該キルセンサーを対策品と交換する。
