Issue
The collision mitigation brake control program in the driver assistance system is incorrect. On curved roads, the system may respond with excessive sensitivity to oncoming vehicles or roadside obstacles, treating them as collision targets. As a result, an unintended proximity warning alert may sound and the collision mitigation brake may activate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the driver assistance system's control program to the corrected/updated software.
