Defect
During engine assembly, the bolts securing the water pipe to the engine may be insufficiently tightened. Continued use allows the bolts to fall out, causing a coolant leak. In the worst case, coolant contacting the exhaust pipe may result in a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, retighten the water pipe mounting bolts to the specified torque.

状況
原動機の組立工程において、ウォーターパイプをエンジンに締結するボルトの締め付けが不足しているものがある。そのままの状態で使用を続けると当該ボルトが脱落しクーラントが漏れ、最悪の場合、排気管へかかり火災にいたるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ウォーターパイプ締結ボルトを正規トルクで締め付ける。
