Filing in context
The Fuel Hose / Pipe is the most frequently cited component category in this archive, appearing in 62 of its 4,890 filings. This filing is one of 24 Suzuki notifications from 2016 in this archive. For scale, 1,421 of the 4,890 filings in this archive report a larger number of affected vehicles; the vehicles involved here were manufactured over a span of about 1 year and 1 month.
Issue
1. In the power transmission system, the belt-drive pulley is improperly assembled, resulting in insufficient torque on the pulley retaining nut. The nut may loosen during vehicle operation, producing abnormal noise. If the vehicle continues to be operated in this condition, drive force may no longer be transmitted and the vehicle may become inoperable. 2. During the vehicle manufacturing process, a bolt may have been introduced into the engine air cleaner. Vibration during vehicle operation may cause the bolt to migrate to the throttle body, where it may become lodged in the throttle valve. In the worst case, engine speed may fail to decrease. 3. The fuel hose quick-connector joint is improperly engaged due to inadequate fitting during assembly. As a result, fuel may leak from the joint.
Corrective action
1. On all vehicles, torque the belt-drive pulley retaining nut to the specified value. 2. On all vehicles, inspect the air cleaner and throttle body and remove any bolt found. 3. On all vehicles, correctly engage the fuel hose quick-connector joint.

状況
