Issue
The variable-nozzle turbocharger used to compress engine intake air has inconsistent nozzle opening adjustment values resulting from variation in the manufacturing process. During operation between 1,300 and 1,500 rpm, the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system recirculates excessive exhaust gas. This may cause the engine to emit black smoke.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the boost pressure and, where readings fall outside the specified value, adjust the nozzle opening.

状況
原動機の吸気を圧縮する可変ノズル付ターボ過給機において、製造工程におけるノズル開 度調整値にばらつきがあるため、１３００～１５００rpmでの走行時にＥＧＲ（排気ガス 循環装置）の循環量が過多となり、黒煙を吐出するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ブースト圧力を点検し、基準値を外れているものについてはノズル開度を調整す る。
