Issue
The variable-nozzle turbocharger used to compress engine intake air has inconsistent nozzle opening adjustment values resulting from variation in the manufacturing process. During operation between 1,300 and 1,500 rpm, the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system recirculates excessive exhaust gas. This may cause the engine to emit black smoke.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the boost pressure and, where readings fall outside the specified value, adjust the nozzle opening.

状況
