Defect
On vehicles equipped with an Intelligent Key system, a gap exists between the handle base and handle cover on the driver-side and passenger-side exterior door handles. When the door is opened, the handle may catch and fail to return to its original position. As a result, the door may not close securely.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the affected door handle cover for a gap. If a gap is found, correct the Intelligent Key button.

状況
インテリジェントキー仕様の運転者席及び助手席の乗降口扉の外側ハンドルにおいて、ハンドルベースとハンドルカバーとの間に隙間が開いているため、扉を開いた際に当該ハンドルが引っ掛かって戻らないことがある。そのため、確実に扉を閉じることができないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ハンドルカバーの隙間を点検し、隙間があるものは、インテリジェントキーボタンを修正する。
