Defect
In vehicles equipped with two-panel folding automatic doors, the gear case of the automatic opening and closing mechanism may be improperly machined, resulting in insufficient strength. Repeated automatic door operation may cause the gear case to fracture. If use continues, the door rattles during automatic operation and can no longer be held in the closed position. In the worst case, the door may open slightly while the vehicle is in motion.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the complete gear assembly with corrected parts.

状況
２枚折戸式自動ドア付車において、自動開閉装置のギヤケースの加工が不適切なため、ギヤケースの強度が不足しているものがあり、ドアの自動開閉操作の繰り返しにより、ギヤケースが破損するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、自動開閉状態ではドアがガタつき、閉じた状態を保持できなくなり、最悪の場合、走行中にドアがわずかに開くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ギヤ一式を対策品と交換する。
