Defect
The engine control unit's recovery logic is inadequate for conditions where engine speed drops sharply at low rpm — such as when internal damage occurs in the air conditioning compressor. The recovery control cannot respond in time, and in the worst case, the engine may stall during low-speed driving.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the engine control unit will be reprogrammed with the corrected/updated software. If internal damage to the compressor is confirmed at the time of or after reprogramming, the compressor will be replaced with a corrected/revised part.

状況
エンジン制御コンピュータにおいて、エンジン低回転時に、エアコンのコンプレッサ内部が破損するなどしてエンジン回転数が急激に低下した場合の復帰制御が不適切なため、復帰制御が間に合わないことがあり、最悪の場合、低速走行中にエンストするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該エンジン制御コンピュータを対策プログラムに修正する。 なお、対策プログラムへの修正時および修正後に、当該コンプレッサの内部破損が確認された場合には、当該コンプレッサを対策品と交換する。
