Defect
On vehicles equipped with an Intelligent Key system, a gap between the handle base and handle cover of the driver's and front passenger's door outer handles allows the handle to catch and fail to return to its original position when the door is opened. As a result, the door may not close securely.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the handle cover gap is inspected. On units found to have a gap, the Intelligent Key button is corrected.

状況
インテリジェントキー仕様の運転者席及び助手席の乗降口扉の外側ハンドルにおいて、ハンドルベースとハンドルカバーとの間に隙間が開いているため、扉を開いた際に当該ハンドルが引っ掛かって戻らないことがある。そのため、確実に扉を閉じることができないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ハンドルカバーの隙間を点検し、隙間があるものは、インテリジェントキーボタンを修正する。
