Defect
The vent ring welded to the resin fuel tank—which connects to the vent valve that prevents liquid fuel from being drawn into the evaporative emissions canister during driving—was improperly molded. Repeated expansion and contraction of the fuel tank may cause the vent ring to crack. When fuel level is high, fuel may leak from the cracked vent ring.
Corrective action
All vehicles: replace the resin fuel tank with a corrected part.

状況
樹脂製燃料タンクに溶着されているベントリング（走行中に液体の燃料が燃料蒸発ガス吸着キャニスタに吸い込まれないためのベントバルブが接続されているもの）の成型が不適切なため、当該燃料タンクの膨張収縮の繰り返しにより、当該ベントリングに亀裂が入ることがある。そのため、燃料の残量が多い場合、当該ベントリングから燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、樹脂製燃料タンクを対策品と交換する。
