Defect
The surface treatment on the wiring terminals of the headlight switch is improper. When the headlight is switched, the terminal mating section moves, increasing contact resistance. In the worst case, the connector coupler melts and causes a conduction failure, resulting in headlight failure.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the switch with a corrected part and replace the female wiring terminals for the headlight circuit with conforming parts. If the coupler is damaged, replace it as well.

状況
①灯火装置において、前照灯操作スイッチ部の配線用端子の表面処理が不適切なため、前 照灯の切り替え操作を行うと当該端子の嵌合部が動くことにより接触抵抗が増大するも のがあり、最悪の場合、接続カプラーが溶けて導通不良となり、前照灯が不灯となるお それがある。
改善措置
①全車両、操作スイッチを対策品と交換するとともに前照灯用配線のメス端子を良品と交 換する。 なお、カプラーに損傷がある場合はカプラーを良品と交換する。
