Defect
The mounting bolts securing the tie rod bracket to the hydraulic power steering gearbox are insufficiently torqued. Performing a stationary turn at very low speed, such as during parking maneuvers, causes the bolts to loosen. Continued use allows the bolts to fracture and the bracket to separate from the gearbox, resulting in loss of steering control.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the torque condition of the bracket mounting bolts. On any vehicle where bolt torque is insufficient, replace the steering gearbox with a conforming unit.

状況
②油圧式パワーステアリングのギアボックスにタイロッドを取り付けるブラケットのボル ト締め付け力が不足しているため、車庫入れ等の極低速時に据え切り操作を行うと当該 ボルトが弛み、そのまま使用を続けるとボルトが折損し、ギアボックスからブラケット が外れるものがある。そのため、ハンドル操作ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
②全車両、ブラケット取り付けボルトの締め付け状態を点検し、締め付け力が不足してい るものはステアリングギアボックスを良品と交換する。
