Defect
In the front and side cameras of the panoramic view monitor, insufficient consideration during the manufacturing process of the camera circuit elements has resulted in internal cracks in some elements. As the vehicle is used, these cracks propagate and cause poor electrical continuity, preventing the image directly to the left of the vehicle from being displayed. This renders the system non-compliant with Safety Standards.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the serial number of the affected camera and, if applicable, replace it with a conforming unit.

状況
パノラミックビューモニターの前方および側方カメラにおいて、カメラ回路素子の製造工程の検討が不十分なため、素子内部に亀裂が生じているものがある。そのため、使用過程で亀裂が進展して導通不良となり、車両の直左の映像が確認できず、保安基準に適合しないおそれがある。
