Defect
In the continuously variable transmission (CVT), assembly instructions for the input shaft were incorrect, resulting in certain units being assembled without an O-ring on the shaft. During high-load driving, hydraulic pressure to the forward clutch drops. In the worst case, the clutch slips, a warning lamp flashes, the fail-safe control activates, and the vehicle suffers reduced acceleration.
Corrective action
Replace the continuously variable transmission with a non-defective unit.

状況
無段変速機において、インプットシャフトの組付指示が不適切なため、当該シャフトにOリングが組み付けられていないものがある。そのため、高負荷走行時にフォワードクラッチの油圧が低下し、最悪の場合、クラッチが滑り警告灯が点滅してフェールセーフが働き、加速不良となるおそれがある。
改善措置
無段変速機を良品に交換する。
