Defect
In the front passenger-side airbag module, improper stitching during assembly produces seams with insufficient strength. When the airbag deploys in a collision, the seam may tear, preventing normal deployment and reducing occupant protection performance.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the front passenger-side airbag module with a corrected part.

状況
助手席側エアバッグモジュールにおいて、エアバッグの縫製が不適切なため、縫製部の強度が不十分なものがある。そのため、衝突時にエアバッグが作動した際に縫製部が裂けて正常に展開せず、乗員保護性能が低下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、助手席側エアバッグモジュールを対策品と交換する。
