Defect
The electric air compressor that supplies air to the brake air tank was designed with insufficient consideration of the heat resistance of its internal bearings. The bearings may seize, causing compressor speed and air pressure to drop. This triggers a warning lamp and audible alert. If the vehicle continues to be operated in this condition, the parking brake may become impossible to release, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
Replace the electric air compressor on all affected vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
ブレーキ用エアタンクにエアを供給する電動エアコンプレッサにおいて、内部ベアリングの耐熱性の検討が不十分なため、ベアリングが焼付いてコンプレッサの回転数が低下し、エア圧が低下することがある。そのため、警告灯の点灯および警告音が吹鳴し、そのまま使用を続けるとパーキングブレーキが解除できず、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、電動エアコンプレッサを対策品に交換する。
