Defect
The adhesive process instructions for attaching the front roof panel brackets to the body were inadequate, resulting in insufficient adhesive coverage on the brackets. Water intrudes into the bonded areas, causing the adhesive bond to deteriorate over time. Continued use may allow wind pressure while driving to detach the panel, creating a hazard to other traffic.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, add rivet fasteners at every adhesive joint on the front roof panel.

状況
フロントルーフパネルにおいて、ボデーに取付けるブラケットとの接着工程の指示が不適切なため、ブラケットへの接着剤の塗布範囲が不足しているものがある。そのため、接着部位に浸水し、経年で接着が剥がれ、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、走行時の風圧等によりパネルが脱落して、他の交通の妨げとなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、フロントルーフパネルの全接着部にリベットによる固定を追加する。
