Defect
Due to insufficient design consideration of the controller installed in electric-powered forklifts, repeated high-load operation over an extended period can cause the metal terminal block inside the controller to reach elevated temperatures and undergo creep deformation. This reduces the clamping force of the terminal fastening nuts, increasing contact resistance at the terminals and generating heat. Continued operation in this condition may cause the controller to burn out, rendering the vehicle unable to travel.
Corrective action
On all affected vehicles, replace the controller with a corrected part. As an interim measure, pending availability of the corrected part, retighten the controller terminal nuts to the specified torque.

状況
電動式フォークリフトに搭載しているコントローラの設計検討が不十分なため、高負荷作業を繰り返し長期間行うと金属製のコントローラの端子台が高温となり、クリープ現象を起こすことがある。そのため、端子を締結しているナットの締結力が低下し、端子部の接触抵抗が増加して発熱し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、コントローラが焼損し走行できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、コントローラを対策品に交換する。なお、対策品の準備に時間を要するため、暫定対策としてコントローラ端子部のナットを規定トルクに増し締めする。
