Defect
On light trucks, the suspension cross member has insufficient durability, which may cause cracks to develop at the front leaf spring upper mount rubber attachment point. Continued use allows the affected area to fracture, causing the vehicle to lean. In the worst case, driving stability may be compromised.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the suspension cross member. If cracks are found, replace the suspension cross member with a corrected part. If no cracks are found, add a reinforcement plate and replace the upper mount rubber with a corrected part.

状況
小型トラックの前輪緩衝装置において、サスペンションクロスメンバの耐久性が不足しているため、フロントリーフスプリングのアッパーマウントラバーの取付部に亀裂が生じることがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該部が破損して車両が傾き、最悪の場合、走行安定性が損なわれるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、サスペンションクロスメンバを点検し、亀裂のあるものはサスペンションクロスメンバを対策品に交換し、亀裂のないものは補強板を追加しアッパーマウントラバーを対策品に交換する。
