Defect
On large refrigerated and frozen trucks, incorrect work instructions for the left frontmost U-bolt securing the chassis frame to the sub-frame resulted in insufficient clearance between the vehicle wiring harness and the U-bolt on some units. Continued use in this condition allows driving vibration to chafe the wiring, causing a short circuit. In the worst case, the engine may stall while driving.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the left front U-bolt and verify the clearance between the U-bolt and the vehicle wiring. If the wiring is damaged, repair the wiring and relocate the U-bolt rearward.

状況
大型冷蔵冷凍車において、シャーシフレームとサブフレームを固定している左最前方Ｕボルトの作業指示が不適切な為、車両側の配線とＵボルトの隙間が狭いものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、走行時の振動等により車両側の配線が擦れ、短絡し、最悪の場合、走行中にエンジンが停止するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、左前方Ｕボルトを点検し、Ｕボルトと車両側配線の隙間を確認する。なお、配線に損傷がある場合には、配線を補修し、Ｕボルトを後方へ移設する。
