Defect
On agricultural tractors, the wiring harness protection instructions in the meter panel wiring diagram are incorrect. As a result, the wiring harness may contact the plate used to hook the brake pedal return spring. Vibration during operation causes the wiring harness to wear and sustain damage, leading to a short circuit in the internal conductors. In the worst case, the wiring harness may burn, resulting in a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, apply protective material to the bare wire section at the connector base of the wiring harness and secure it with a wire band, add protective rubber to the corner of the brake pedal return spring plate, and inspect the wiring routing. Any wiring harness showing damage must be repaired or replaced with a new unit.

状況
農耕トラクタのメータパネル内のワイヤハーネスに於いて、ワイヤハーネス図面の保護指示が不適切なため、ワイヤハーネスとブレーキペダルの戻りスプリングを掛けるプレートが接触しているものがある。 そのため、走行中の振動等により、当該ワイヤハーネスが摩耗により損傷して内部電線の短絡を起こし、最悪の場合、ワイヤハーネスが焼損して火災となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ワイヤハーネスのコネクタ根元の素線部へ保護材を貼り付けワイヤバンドで固定し、ブレーキペダルの戻りスプリングを掛けるプレートの角部へ保護ゴムを追加し配策経路の点検を行う。また、ワイヤハーネスに損傷が見られるものは、補修またはワイヤハーネスを新品に交換する。
