Defect
On large buses, the coupling structure between the interior emergency exit handle shaft and the drive lever is improperly designed, resulting in insufficient engagement depth on some units. As a result, the handle may spin freely during operation and the emergency exit door may fail to open.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the interior operation handle assembly with a corrected part.
