Defect

On large buses, the coupling structure between the interior emergency exit handle shaft and the drive lever is improperly designed, resulting in insufficient engagement depth on some units. As a result, the handle may spin freely during operation and the emergency exit door may fail to open.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the interior operation handle assembly with a corrected part.

状況

大型バスの非常口扉において、室内操作ハンドルの軸と駆動レバーの嵌合構造が不適切なため、嵌合代が不足しているものがある。そのため、ハンドル操作時に空転し非常口扉が開かないおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、室内操作ハンドル一式を対策品に交換する。
