Defect
On electric light-duty trucks, an improperly designed program in the vehicle approach warning system may prevent the proximity alert sound from activating while driving. Additionally, the defect may cause battery discharge, preventing the EV system from starting, illuminating the EV system warning light, and rendering the vehicle unable to drive.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the vehicle approach warning system with a corrected part.

状況
電気自動車の小型トラックにおいて、車両接近通報装置のプログラムが不適切なため、走行時に車両接近音が鳴らない場合や、バッテリー上がりが生じてＥＶシステムが起動出来ず、ＥＶシステム警告灯が点灯したり、車両を走行させることが出来なくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、車両接近通報装置を対策品に交換する。
