Defect
On medium-duty trucks, the harness for the seat belt buckle sensor — which detects whether the driver's seat belt is fastened — is improperly routed. During normal use, the seat belt buckle may repeatedly pinch the harness, causing damage. This damage may cause the seat belt unfastened warning light and audible alarm to malfunction.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the driver's seat belt buckle assembly with a corrected part.

状況
中型トラックにおいて、運転席のシートベルトバックルに取り付けられているシートベルト装着状況を検知するためのセンサー用ハーネスの配策が不適切なため、使用過程でシートベルトバックルが当該ハーネスを挟み込むことがあり、この繰り返しにより当該ハーネスが損傷し、シートベルト非装着警告灯と警報ブザーが誤作動するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、運転席のシートベルトバックル一式を対策品に交換する。
