Defect
On tank lorries, the under-floor piping support stay for the unloading pump has insufficient rigidity. When driving loads act on the pump, excessive stress develops at the cross-junction of the piping near the pump, causing cracks to form. Continued operation allows cargo to leak during unloading operations. In the worst case, if an ignition source is present nearby, fuel dripping onto the ground may ignite and cause a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
Replace the unloading pump stay with a corrected part. Also replace the two sections of piping adjacent to the pump with new units.

状況
タンクローリの床下配管において、荷下ろし用ポンプステーの剛性が不十分なため、走行負荷がポンプに作用した際、ポンプ近接配管のクロス部に過度の負荷が生じ、配管に亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用し続けると、荷下ろし作業中に積載物が漏れ、最悪周囲に火種があった場合に地面へ滴下した積載物が発火して火災になるおそれがある。
改善措置
荷下ろし用ポンプステーを対策品に交換する。また、ポンプ近接配管2本を新品に交換する。
