Defect
During manufacturing, the connecting rods in the generator engine were improperly machined, leaving insufficient thread engagement at the fastening joints. As a result, the connecting rod may fail due to inadequate fastening, causing the generator engine to stop. In the worst case, the resulting loss of electrical power may render the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
Replace the generator engine with a conforming unit.

状況
発電用エンジンのコネクティングロッドにおいて、製造時の加工が不適切であったため、締結部のねじ山が不足しているものがある。そのため、使用過程においてコネクティングロッドが締結不足により破損して、発電用エンジンが停止し、最悪の場合、電力が不足して走行不能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
発電用エンジンを良品のものに交換する。
