Defect
In e-POWER and electric vehicles, insufficient evaluation of the motor output control software during development introduced a programming error in the Vehicle Control Module. If a specific driver input is made immediately after ending cruise control operation—including Intelligent Cruise Control and ProPilot—unintended acceleration may occur.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the Vehicle Control Module with corrected software.

状況
ｅ－ＰＯＷＥＲ車及び電気自動車のビークルコントロールモジュールにおいて、開発時にモーター出力制御プログラムの評価が不十分なため、プログラムに不備がある。 このため、クルーズコントロール（インテリジェントクルーズコントロール、プロパイロットを含む）による走行を終了した直後に特定の操作をした場合に、意図しない加速をするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ビークルコントロールモジュールの制御プログラムを修正する。
