Defect
On refuse collection vehicles, the bracket connecting the body to the dump mechanism was not adequately evaluated for quality, resulting in insufficient strength at the fastening points. During maximum dump operation, impact loads impose stress on the fastening points beyond the expected design level, which may cause the mounting bolts to fracture. In the worst case, the body and dump mechanism may separate, and the body may roll rearward.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the bracket connecting the body to the dump mechanism with a corrected part that changes the fastening method from bolt-fastening to welded fastening. In addition, as a safety measure, replace the wire connecting the body to the sub-frame with a corrected part.

状況
塵芥車において、ボデーとダンプ機構を連結するブラケットの品質評価が不適切なため、締結部の強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、最大ダンプの衝撃により締結部に想定以上の応力がかかることで、固定用のボルトが折損し、最悪の場合、ボデーとダンプ機構が分離し、ボデーが後転するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ボデーとダンプ機構を連結するブラケットをボルト固定方式から溶接固定方式に変更した対策品に交換する。合わせて、安全対策のため、ボデーとサブフレームを繋ぐワイヤを対策品に交換する。
