Defect
The wire harness routed through the driver-side and front passenger-side doors was improperly designed. Repeated opening and closing of the doors flexes the wiring, which may cause a broken wire. If this occurs, the side airbags, curtain airbags, and the door mirror turn signal indicators may become inoperative.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the driver-side and front passenger-side door wire harnesses with corrected parts.

状況
運転席ドアおよび助手席ドアのワイヤハーネスにおいて、設計が不適切なため、ドア開閉の繰り返しにより、配線が断線することがある。そのため、サイドエアバッグやカーテンエアバッグ、ドアミラーの補助方向指示器等が作動しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、運転席ドアおよび助手席ドアのワイヤハーネスを対策品に交換する。
